You pay no rental or subscription fees during this period. You only pay the transaction fees. You can even keep using your old payment terminal alongside the Clover.
These action terms are inextricably linked to the Merchant Contract.
No activation fees will be charged.
The terminal rental price is €1 per month for the first 12 months. The first month is the month of activation of the payment terminal.
The Monthly Service Fee will NOT be charged for the first 12 months.
To qualify for these promotional rates for the first 12 months, a rental period of 3 years must be agreed upon.
The rental period as agreed with you will be stated in the Merchant Agreement.
The above promotional rates will be listed on this Merchant Agreement.
After 12 months, the applicable rates for Payment Terminal rental and the Monthly Service Fee will be charged.
Transaction fees will be charged throughout the entire contract period. These rates are agreed upon with you and are stated in the Merchant Contract.
EMS reserves the right to annually index the current applicable rates.
For onboarding new customers, we use an online boarding tool. After contacting our sales employee, you will receive an offer by e-mail. If you accept this offer, you can digitally sign the contract.
During this online boarding, you will be asked to provide your proof of identity in the ID portal. Our KYC (Know Your Customer) and Risk department will check all the details and once there is an agreement we will make sure everything is ready for transactions to take place. If you have ordered a Clover or PAX payment terminal, you will receive it within a few days.
Our KYC department may have additional questions about your company. In this case, our sales employee, with whom you have already been in contact, will request this.
